Poiana Brasov is often called the winter capital of Romania. It is situated in Postavaru Mountains, only 12km from Brasov city. This Romania's leading ski resort offers 20 km of slopes, 5 km of ski routes, 11 ski lifts. The ski area stretches between 1021m to 1800 m. What attracts many tourists and ski lovers is excellent ski runs suited to all abilities, excellent weather conditions and good infrastructure including restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels. The winter season lasts here from November to March.
