That's why it is so varied, full of local habits, with rich culture and impressive sites. Our tour is dedicated for those who want to explore Romania's landmarks. We offer you a 8-day tour around Romania.
Day 1
We will pick you up from your hotel or an airport and you head toward the charming city of Sibiu. On the way you will visit two interesting places: Curtea de Arges Monastery and Horezu Pottery. Then, you will continue your tour to Sibiu where you will have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2
After breakfast, you will visit Alba Iulia and its unique impressive landmark – the star-shaped citadel. Then you will continue your tour to Turda Salt Mine which is the largest one in Romania. The next stop will be in Cluj Napoca, where you will arrive in the afternoon. Our guide will show you the most important and interesting sites located in the centre of this picturesque city. Overnight in Cluj Napoca.
Day 3
This day, you will explore Maramures region which is dotted with numerous beautiful wooden churches, covered by densely afforested areas and offering plentiful attractions. You will visit Baia Mare – a city with a charming Old Town. You will discover colorful churches and see the Merry Cemetery in Sapanta. Overnight in Sighetu Marmatiei.
Day 4
After breakfast, you will continue your tour around Maramures and the you will enter Bucovina region. This day, you will see the beautiful Barsana Monastery - enormous wooden Orthodox monastic complex which is a popular pilgrimage site. You will cross scenic Iza Valley and pass through charming villages such as Botiza, Bogdan. Overnight in Vatra Dornei.
Day 5
This day is dedicated to discover the gems of Bukovina architecture – beautiful monasteries inscribed into UNESCO World Heritage List. You will visit Voronet monastery erected in 1487. It is known as "the Sistine Chapel of the East" due to its interior and exterior wall paintings. Then, you will go toward another architectural pearl – Sucevita Monastery. Then, you will continue your tour to Piatra Neamt where you will stay overnight.
Day 6
After breakfast, you will head toward Brasov. You will cross beautiful Bicaz Gorges on the Bicaz River which connects Transylvania with Moldavia. You will stop for a while on the Red Lake. You will have chance to admire fantastic views. You will also visit The Fortified Church in Prejmer which is the biggest fortified church in the Southeastern Europe. Overnight in Brasov.
Day 7
You will take part in a guided walking tour around Brasov. Then, you will head toward Viscri village – one of the most famous tourist destination in Romania. You will visit one of the oldest churches in Transylvania- Viscri Church there. Then, you will continue your tour to Sighisoara – a fantastic medieval town inscribed into UNESCO list. Our guide will show you the most interesting sites such as the Guild Tower, the Venetian House, Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) House, Antler House, and much more. Overnight in Brasov.
Day 8
After breakfast, you will head toward Bucharest. On the way, you will visit one of the most popular Romania's landmarks - Dracula's Castle, also known as Bran Castle. Then, you will stop in Sinaia, the mountain resort called “The pearl of the Carpathians”. You will visit beautiful Peles Castle, which once was the summer residence of Romanian Kings. In the evening, you arrive in Bucharest. The tour is over.
