Let's discover still little known land of Romanian wines. We offer private wine tours to Dealu Mare – one of the main wine regions in Romania located not so far from Bucharest. There are numerous villages where wine production traditions are still alive. We would like to take you to a place where Feteasca Neagra grape is being cultivated.
During our tour you will visit 18th century wine cellar Crama 1777 which is now a museum with exhibitions depicting local wine growing and wine making tradition. The next stop will be Lacerta Winery. You will visit a plantations, places where fermentation takes place as well as wine aging room. You will be familiarized with wine making process. Then you will taste 6 different wines and take part in a picnic lunch during which you could taste local products: cured meats, cheese, fresh baguette, seasonal fresh fruits.
