During the tour you will see the most important sites, museums and monuments. You will discover the history of the Revolution Square. You will get to the University Square which is famous for the 1990 University Square Phenomenom and dramatic events of the 1989 Revolution. Absolute must-see will be the Palace of Parliament called the House of the People. You will get inside this monumental building raised in 1984 by Ceausescu and you will learn more about Ceausescu’s dictatorship. Afterwards you will visit the permanent exhibition – Memory as a form of Justice – which is a part of the „Sighet Memorial” - the museum of the communist repression in Romania. Casa Scanteii – House of the Spark – will be another interesting site on our way. If you are not tired, you could also visit the Cemetery of the Martyr-Heroes of the December 1989 Revolution.
